East Hartford, CT—BioSafe Systems would like to announce a recent addition to its agriculture team, Kurt Schwartau. Kurt joins BioSafe as the North American Business Development Manager for Field Crops with a focus on the Rockies and Plains regions. A native of Minnesota, Kurt is based in Evergreen, CO, where he lives with his wife, Lynne.
A graduate of the University of Minnesota College of Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources, Kurt has extensive business experience in many segments and functions of crop protection and pest control, both in the United States and globally. His focus has been on developing markets and customers channels for novel, EPA-registered, microbial insect and disease control brands. He was most recently Head of Marketing and Sales at Phyllom BioProducts. He also previously worked at SipcamAdvan, AgraQuest (Bayer Biologics) and ISK Biosciences.
When not working or spending time with his wife and children, Kurt serves his community on the Timber Estates Metropolitan Tax District Board.
