MICROBICIDE

SaniDateFD is a 15% peroxyacetic acid-based microbiocide developed for use in Federally inspected meat, poultry, and seafood processing facilities. When used as directed, it will help to reduce contamination and cross-contamination in food processing. This product is intended to be used as an antimicrobial agent to control microorganisms in process water and ice used in the production and preparation of poultry, shell eggs, meat, fish and seafood.

HOW SHOULD SANIDATE FD BE USED?

Poultry Applications
Use as an antimicrobial agent for water or ice which may be applied by spray, rinse, dip, chiller water, immersion, or scald water for use on whole or cut poultry carcasses, parts, trim, skin on and skin off, organs and shell egg washes in accordance with current industry standards of good manufacturing practice. Use at up to 2000 ppm of peroxyacetic acid.

Meat Applications
SaniDateFD may be applied in process water and/or ice used for washing, rinsing, storing or cooling of whole or cut meat including carcasses, parts, trim and organs. Use at up to 400ppm of peroxyacetic acid.

Ready to Eat Applications
Use SaniDateFD as an antimicrobial in process water, ice or brine for washing, rinsing, cooling or storing of processed and pre-formed meat. Use at up to 230 ppm of peroxyacetic acid.

WHAT IS SANIDATE FD’S MODE OF ACTION?

SaniDateFD works through an oxidation chemical reaction that kills bacteria and fungus. More specifically, SaniDateFD reacts on contact with the enzymes and proteins that make up simple cell organisms.

APPLICATIONS

SaniDateFD may be applied in process water and/or ice used for washing, rinsing, storing or cooling of whole or cut meat or poultry including carcasses, parts, trim and organs.
