Q: Why do I have to use a drop spreader with TerraCyte?
A: We have found that TerraCyte is most effective when applied with a drop spreader. Use of a rotary spreader separates the TerraCyte components making it less effective.
Q: Is TerraCyte water-soluble?
A: No. TerraCyte has a lime component that will not dissolve.
Q: Where can I find spreader settings for TerraCyte?
A: You can find the TerraCyte settings on the label. (You can download the label from the label section of our website.)
Q: What is the best temperature to apply TerraCyte?
A: It is best to apply TerraCyte when the soil temperature is above 50 degrees F and the air temperature is below 90 degrees F

A: TerraCyte will turn the moss a brown / rust color.
