ARRET is a sprout suppressant ideal for both fresh-pack line treatments and thermal fogging treatment applications. Formulated of green and sustainable fatty acids, this innovative chemistry burns down sprouts on contact.

Highly-effective, ARRET offers potato growers a tool to enhance the quality and storage life of their crop. For in-storage potatoes, ARRET may be applied by any type of thermal fogger whenever potatoes are peeping, preventing any further sprouting. Fresh-market potatoes can benefit from ARRET when they are being prepared for packing. ARRET is easily dispersed in water and then applied as a low-volume spray bar application to stop sprouts in their tracks.

HOW SHOULD ARRET BE USED?

ARRET is used to inhibit and suppress the sprouting of potatoes anytime after potatoes are placed into storage. Apply to harvested potatoes to prevent and suppress the sprouting of potatoes until the potatoes are ready for shipping to the fresh market or processing plants.

ARRET may also be applied to suppress the formation of sprouts on potatoes coming out of storage as they are packed. For best results, apply when potatoes are at ‘peeping’ or before sprouts reach 1/8 inch long. This product inhibits the germination of seed potatoes. Do not apply to potatoes grown for seed.
