POTATO SPROUT INHIBITOR

ARRET is a sprout inhibitor for use on harvested potatoes in storage to prevent the formation of sprouts and suppress any that have already had the chance to form. ARRET is ideal for fresh-pack line treatment application and is made up of green and sustainable fatty acids which burn down sprouts on contact.

Highly effective, ARRET offers potato growers a tool to enhance the quality and storage life of their valuable crop. Fresh-market potatoes can benefit from ARRET when they are being prepared for packing. It is easily dispersed in water and then applied as a low-volume spray through the spray bar to stop sprouts in their tracks.

* Apply diluted solution at a rate of 1 gallon per 8,000 lbs. of potatoes.Note: Apply ARRET using spray nozzles placed evenly across the rollers on the line where the potatoes are being moved. Rolling or tumbling action greatly improves coverage compared to flat conveyor belts. Ensure thorough coverage for best results.
