SaniDate 5.0 can be used in the following applications:

  • Disinfection of Non-Food Contact Packaging Equipment:

    Use SaniDate 5.0 for disinfection against beverage spoilage organisms that include Pediococcus damnosus, Lactobacillus malefermentans, and Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

  • Post Harvest Treatments in Packinghouses and Food Processing Plants:

  • Direct injection into spray waters used on process lines: Treat water containing plant pathogens by injecting SaniDate 5.0 directly into spray system water.

  • For post-harvest spray treatments on process and packing lines: Inject SaniDate 5.0 directly into spray system water on process and packing lines to prevent bacterial and fungal diseases on post-harvest fruits and vegetables.

  • For direct injection into dump tanks, hydro coolers, spray system, and process waters: For treatment of water containing plant pathogens, inject SaniDate 5.0 and maintain a predetermined residual level by using metering equipment, coupled with ORP measuring probes.

  • Fogging:

    SaniDate 5.0 can be used as an adjunct to acceptable manual cleaning and disinfecting to treat hard, non-porous room surfaces in Dairies and Beverage/Food Processing Plants.

  • Mold and Mildew Control on Hard, Non-Porous Surfaces:

    SaniDate 5.0 effectively inhibits the growth of mold, mildew, and the odors they cause when applied to hard non-porous surfaces (non-food contact surfaces), such as floors, walkways, walls, tables, chairs, benches, countertops, cabinets, bathroom fixtures, sinks, shelves, racks, crates, carts, trailers, vehicles, conveyors, refrigerators (exterior), fan blades, drains, piping, filter housings, vats, tanks, pumps, valves, and commercial, municipal, and process water transfer and handling systems.
